Rooted in Scarborough for 70+ Years

As the first credit union for the residents of the Scarborough, Town & Country’s roots in the community run deep dating back to 1953.

“We are proud of our history of serving Scarborough and we have been intimately involved in the growth of the town by providing financial services that have evolved to meet the needs of both new and existing residents. As a long-time resident of Scarborough myself and having two children educated in Scarborough schools, I am very passionate about this community,” remarked David Libby, President and CEO of Town & Country, who has also served on a number of town committees and organizations through the years.

In 1995, Town & Country opened a branch in Scarborough and, in 2015, further increased its presence in town with the completion of its headquarters and Operations Center near Oak Hill. Since the facility opened, the Center has hosted many events and organizations and remains known as one of the most innovative facilities in all of Maine.

“Scarborough has seen remarkable change in the 70+ years we have been in the community, and we have been there every step of the way and look forward to being a leader in providing financial services and solutions to the people of Scarborough for years to come,” added Libby.
